The Script - Sept 2017 Issue 001

The Script : Originated from our group's name Kaleidoscope's Script. The meaning behind our name is that we strive to have a collection of all sorts of content and information written by solely us. Also, to symbolize us as the original content creator with hope that people will be able to link our cover title back to us, the Kaleidoscope's Script.

2) The content of our group's magazine publishing company will specialize in lifestyle.

The primary age target audience of our magazine is about 16-20 years old.

The secondary target audience of the magazine will be the parents, grandparents, teachers and educational institutions with the individuals in that age group.

3) We plan to advertise the magazine on mainly social media and broadcasting.

For instance, advertisement on televisions and radios as well as common social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter etc.

The decision of mainly choosing social media is due to the growing number of teenagers (our targeted audience) on social media.

Teenagers nowadays, which are always on the move, can and are able to now know more about our magazine which is still currently at a stage of low recognition.

We believe in online advertising as the mass would know more about us instantly and with just a click away.

Not forgetting the low cost of advertising magazines in already existing media platforms.

For boosting the our start up magazine, promotions and discounts for our magazine will be done, as well as inserting attractive gifts that will hopefully attract readers to buy or subscribe to our magazine.

Later on, we have visions in inviting prominent individuals for interviews and their stories will be included in our magazine. We believe that bringing in popular/famous individuals can raise our magazines recognition and be able to reach a much broader audience.

4) It is no hidden fact that paper and magazine ad space both costs a lot of money.

That is the reason why most magazines need to make enough to break even.

Hence, for us, we will be using the paid circulation strategy as we believe we can maximize our profits that way.

Our magazine will be sold to our customers using the "per-issue basis" as well as subscription basis where annual or monthly payments are made.

We will have plenty of spaces in the magazine pages for advertisements.

Merchandise is also being made to make most of our money back and that will give us the profit we wish to make.

5)The contents that we may be discussing in our magazine would contain almost anything, ranging from hobbies to fashion.

We would discuss about the trends and where would be the best place to travel for a blue sky holiday.

Ways to keep a healthy lifestyle, what are the best and healthiest diets as well as easy workout routines to maintain a fit and healthy body.

Fashions that would make everyone’s jaw drop whenever you walk by or even ways to decorate your room to make it look less like a hell-hole.

Lists of music ranging from every genre from time to time, not following mainstream charts to allow our audience to be open-minded as well as bringing deserved recognition for the smaller artists that just started out in the music industry.

We would like our magazine to influence and be able to lead anyone or everyone that may come across our magazine towards a greater and more desirable life.

This magazine would cover it all.
